1. COLORFUL pens
Yes indeed I have an unhealthy addiction to colorful pens. I think I have like 50% OCD and I know every white girl ever says they have OCD but I legit think I do...but just a little. I don't get like creepy death images in my head or do things like walking through a door over and over until I get it right...I just like things to be organized. But I'm getting off topic. Basically I have 3 planners...School, Life, and Other. I really like my planners to be neat and color coordinated...hence the colorful pens. I don't know why but I ❤︎ LOVE ❤︎ when everything is super colorful. I write my notes, my homework and everything else in colorful pens...it just makes life so much more exciting! Just ask Kylie...

K: "Maggie what do you want for your birthday?"
M: "Pens"
K: "Pens?"
M: "Pens."
Also, Kylie will tell you about how I don't let ANYBODY touch my pens because they will ruin them! *cough* Kylie I still hate you for squishing the tip in on my blue pen in St. George *cough*

2. Lip Balm
Oh dear goodness gracious...I am obsessed with lip balm. I couldn't tell you how many lip balms I have because it would take probably a week to find/count all of them. The weird thing is...my lips get chapped really easily which is really mind-boggling considering the fact that I re-apply my lip balm every 5 minutes. I buy Baby Lips, ChapStick, EOS, Burts Bees, Wet n Wild, Carmex, Nivea and any other kind of lip balm you can imagine. I LOVE LIP BALM.

State Meet!

I probably just had THE best 3 days of my life!

Wednesday
Kylie and I set off for St. George! It was about a 5 hour drive...it seems really long but it was fun because we watched movies and jammed to music the whole way down! We went to our resort and immediately hit the pool! We swam for about an hour and then hit the spa! We went in the steam room, the 'relaxation room' and the INCREDIBLE showers! (seriously though I can't even describe how cool these showers were!) We headed into town for pizza and a movie! It was a SUPER fun night!

Thursday (MEET DAY!)
We woke up early Thursday morning and sat in hammocks to watch the sun rise and then headed to the resort restaurant for breakfast. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet and tried to get in touch with Brenna and Tasia. We had about 2 hours before our spa appointments so we went on a short hike. We found this huge rock spiral thingy in the middle of nowhere and walked through the entire thing! (It was questionable because it looked a little satanic). We "sacrificed" our hair ties at the middle of the spiral because apparently you have to sacrifice something. We went for a quick dip in the pool and we ran into Brenna who just so happened to be on her way to the spa! Since our spa appointment was in about 30 minutes, we got out of the pool and went with Brenna to the spa. We showered and changed into robes and slippers and headed into the "relaxation room" to wait with Brenna...and guess who happened to be in the relaxation room...TASIA! When they called me and Kylie we headed up to the salon and got our hair and makeup done. After our spa treatment we (the 4 of us) walked to all of our rooms to get our leos and warmups. (this took a while because the resort was VERY spread out and we were all in different buildings (except for me and Kylie of course)). Afterwards we headed to the meet!! It was about a 30 minute drive.

The competition went AMAZINGLY! I won't bore you with details but I got 3 personal bests on vault, bars and all around!

Bars: 9.355
Beam: 8.9
Floor: 9.4
Vault: 9.4
AA: 37.1 (!!!!!)

Awards was amazing! As we were waiting for our awards, these meet people came up to Me and Kylie and told us that we were in the top 5 of all 72 girls there! That meant that we had made the Utah state team to compete against the other states at regionals!!!!

Beam: 4th
Floor: 2nd
AA: 2nd

The girl that beat me and won first all around beat me by only .005!!!!!!!
All in all one of the best meets i've ever had!!

Saturday
We got up early again and cleaned the hotel room and packed our bags. Emery has a pool house in St.George so we went there for a pool party! It was great! We drove home and it was depressing because our amazing trip was over :(

Ella

Once there was a girl named Ella. She had pretty hair. Ella always wore doc martins and jeans. Ella sat across from Maggie in English. Ella was always stressed about geography and theater.  Maggie liked Ella, but Ella thought Maggie was a poo.  Maggie helped Ella remember vocab words and memorize capitals and whatnot. Ella was internet famous.

Ella was also a theater star.

Maggie looked up to Ella because she was radical and also famous. Maggie was just a peasant compared to Ella the famous chick. Maggie decided to interview Ella so that one day, Maggie could be famous like Ella.

M: Why are you so hip?
E: I don't know it's hard to be as hip as I am, you can try your hardest but you'll never be as hip as me. What's the capital of Iran?
M: How did you become so famous?
E: So one day I went to the shop and it was pretty intense because all these people were like can you act for me and I was like ummm I guess
M: Who is Maggie to you?
E: She's a pesant...obviously. She can do some flexible stuff but she's not quite as famous as me…Yet… She'll get there
M: How are you so bootyful?
E: You have to buy all the makeup and get lot's of plastic surgery and then maybe you'll be as beautiful as me but probably not.
M: Do people just bow down to your feet when you walk by?
E: Yeah...a lot of them smell me and then kiss my hands...and my elbows
M: Are you as cool as Ke$ha?
E: Umm...Wayy cooler than Ke$ha
M: But you don't have a money sign in your name
E: Ya I do.. Ella Fedder$en
M: Thank you for letting me interview you
E: Ya I bet it was a pleasure...for you not me.
E: Can I have a piece of gum?
